Man I sucked at Ricochet Robot this evening! Ben started out with an early lead, then JP and Jeffles began catching up (almost), and I just ate their dust.

Fina won her first game of Saint Petersburg. Jeffles played his first game as well, but did not fare so well. The game continues to be the hot new game as you can see, since it was played 3 times!

A cheering crowd gathered for Can't Stop, as all 4 players had 2 points in the endgame - very close and exciting!

Memoir '44 finally saw action. I am still interested in trying it. Ben says it improves some stuff from Battle Cry, in particular that there aren't cards like All Out Assault which put a large bit of luck/chaos into Battle Cry.

Meta Game

MarkY was the Meta Devil but failed to design a Meta Game! Since he was so very naughty and made us all so sad, the following impromptu Meta Game was designed to punish him for his wickedness:

Bad MarkY

Gain a lottery ticket for each game you play without MarkY in it. The Meta Devil will be randomly chosen.

JimG gained no meta points since all 5 of his games were played with the Shunned One (Settlers, Lost Cities, Memoir '44). Everyone else (except the Evil One himself) played at least one game without He Who Must Be Avoided. Of the 31 valid lottery tickets, one of Ben's was chosen, so Ben is the Meta Devil and will design next week's Meta Game!
