13 of us played 14 games! Two new people: EricE and ToddG.

Russ is off on a 5-week vacation. Watch his LJ for reports. (You can thank Whendy for convincing him to translate some of it into English.) Clayton has moved in with Russ, and he was kind enough to host, so there will be ClaytonCon in Russ's absence and I (JP) will be writing the reports.

Meta Game

I (JP) was the Meta Devil and designed the following Meta Game:

Since Russ won't be at ClaytonCon this week, who will pick the music?

You will!

Bring CDs of your favorite music to fill the void.

The first five people to arrive each get to pick a CD to go in the changer. Every hour, anyone who has not yet chosen a CD may swap in a new one, though at most 5 may be swapped each hour. Earliest arrivers get swapping privileges first. Once everyone one who wants to choose a CD has done so, people can start getting seconds.

Earn a metalottery ticket for each CD you bring (max 5, but you're welcome to bring more).

Earn a metalottery ticket for each CD you pick.

Earn a metalottery ticket for each CD that you brought that someone else picks.

A ticket will be chosen reandomly to determine the winner.

You may choose to eschew your lottery tickets if you want to participate but not to win, but I can't promise people won't point at you and laugh.

PS: Yes, Russ's CDs count.

This was a fairly lowkey metagame. And it was just as well, since I wasn't there to moderate for the first half. It appears that people put in CDs at the very beginning of the night and noone but me bothered to swap any out. I'm also the only one (other than Russ) who gets points for bringing CDs. (I brought in the CDs that were in the CD changer in my car.) The people who picked CDs were Jeffles (2), Whendy (2), JimG (1), JP (1). All CDs chosen were Russ's. (Yes, even I didn't pick one of my own CDs.) Sadly, I don't remember what any of the CDs were. I reckon the ticket distribution as follows:
