Damn, I broke my Carcasssonne winning streak. I've just lost the email game of Carcassonne I was playing also.
Sea Biscuit and I continue our reign of incompetence at Stephensons Rocket -- I always beat him, and we are both always beaten by whoever else plays, regardless of their experience level. In this case neither Squeaky nor Ben had played before (which earned them both meta points).
Last week was not the first Princes of Florence game at RussCon after all; thanks to Matt for pointing out it had been played once before, under its German title. Spiffy game. We played it 3 player, for the first time for all 3 of us, and it was quite different and enjoyable. E.g. it's much harder to get all the freedoms (hand-wavingly speaking, you have only a 2/3 chance to get each one instead of 4/5).
A reminder: please write and spell clearly when recording game results, and remember last initials for people with common names, thanks!
