I had a good opening Boggle game, but then in a later duel with Ben, he squeaked ahead by 3 points in the end! I blame answering a phone call while the timer was going... I thought I'd found everything on the barren board, but I was so wrong... "sheer fucking pride, and stupidity."

Loaded Questions is the party card game Sarah brought (which we played informally ). Having questions already made up on cards helped move things along a little faster. We did three rounds. For your amusement, here are the answers people wrote for various questions; it shouldn't be too hard to figure out which player wrote which column:

Meta Game

Chad was the Meta Devil and created the following Meta Game:

Getting into Ed's Head:

Ed is a new player at Russcon. He will be the meta game this week. He will arrive with various random questions about his history. He will ask each person a (possibly different) question about his past. You must ask Ed yes/no questions over the course of the evening to help you determine the answer to your question.

Rules:

Each Player may ask 1 question per game they complete, and 1 additional question per game they win. So the winner of each game gets 2 questions, and the non-winners of each game get 1 question each, upon completion of the game. The games must be traditionally sanction Russcon games which count for Meta Game points (Ie. Rock, Paper, Scissors and the like don't count).

You may ask your quesiton(s) of Ed when he is available.

Each question will be answered only by "yes", "no", "maybe", or "unknown".

The goal:
The first player that uses one of their questions to correctly guess the historical fact about Ed wins the meta game and becomes the next metadevil.

If no facts are guessed correctly, Ed will decide the next meta devil by whatever he deems appropriate.

Soooo, let's get to know Ed!

There were only 5 questions, so Chad ended up getting a duplicate of the one JP already had; they pooled their knowledge and Chad soon guessed correctly that Ed once asked Bill Gates about his water skiing habits... So Chad is the Meta Devil again and will design next week's Meta Game!
