12 of us played 11 games!
Spanish: 2pm Sunday at Texspresso on Anderson Lane (by Alamo Drafthouse Village) is the weekly basic informal Spanish RussCon study group... so far it consists of me studying Spanish by myself at Texspresso, except one time Whendy came with a Spanish instructional CD we played around with. :)
STAPLE is an independent media (comics, art, zines, etc) expo from 10am to 6pm on Saturday March 5. It only costs $5 and people like Shannon Wheeler (Too Much Coffee Man) and Scott Kurtz (Player vs Player) will be there.
Cirque du Soleil is in town and some folks were talking about going. If you want to try to get a RussCon group to go to this Varekai show, let me know.

Since RussCon inexplicably lacked an actual Boggle set (besides Boggle Bowl), Ben picked up a Boggle set with an electronic timer in a snazzy black traveling case. Pretty fancy! There were hopes that the word "river" might appear on one of the boards, but no such luck.
Apparently Razzia is just like Ra with one change, in a smaller cheaper package with a gangster theme instead of ancient Egypt.
Marty and I actually tied in Tayu, each with 4*5=20 points. There still looked liked like there was space, but it was actually getting hard to find places to put the pieces, so the game shut down earlier than expected with the tie score.
We did another late-night social game. This one was suggested by Jeffles: people wrote slips of paper with various actions on them, good, bad or strange, and then we'd randomly draw 6 of them and try to guess the preference order for them for different people. E.g. would Clayton rather dance naked on TV or play Carcassonne? Ok, sometimes the answer was obvious, but sometimes there were some very surprising results, especially including such activities as attending a high school reunion, getting punched in the face, and being wrapped like a mummy at a bdsm party.

Another of those pesky meta themes.

There is the theory of the moebius. Another fun performance art prank: creation of repeated deja vu
