Some of these games were horrific, the greatest being Arkham Horror (thanks, BobR). It is a game that is more complex and vaguely-ruled than it ought to be, but one can't help but like this eldritch classic in which often everyone loses. We actually managed to stave off the Lovecraftian horrors by closing all the gates to our world before we were doomed. Daniel was driven irrevocably insane by Cthulhu, however, and had to start a new character.
Old timers will of course remember the Lost Worlds combat duel books, which were based on the Ace of Aces system. Zack brought some since they have monsters!
A reminder: please write and spell clearly when recording game results, make the scores and ranks clear, and remember last initials for people with common names, thanks! This week there was an ambiguous Mark (no pun intended); I guessed MarkY.
