Another 10-player game of 6 Nimmt! That's always a special event because it breaks the editing macro I made to create the ratings html table.
We played Acquire with Devil Wendy's vintage set.
I enjoyed one final game of Tally Ho with my ancient adversary Dan, and I'm happy to say I crushed him like a bug. Now flee back to England, Dan, before I taunt you a second time!
There's a new dinosaur evolution game called Evo which is said to be vaguely like Ursuppe. 2 games were played but one was unrecorded since they messed up a movement rule majorly. It seems Evo was enjoyed.
Inexplicably I defeated JeffF and JP at Instinct; inexplicable because they are good and experienced at trick-taking card games, whereas I suck. (2 days later the world turned upside down again at Great Hall Games when I defeated JeffF in Web of Power.)

I recently saw the fascinating sequel to the excellent film Paradise Lost; these are documentaries about the 3 teenage boys in West Memphis, Arkansas who appear to have been unjustly convicted of murders they did not commit, due to small-town prejudice against them (they frequently wore black and liked Metallica)... The amazing lack of evidence is very disturbing. Damien Echols has been sentenced to death. www.wm3.org has info about the case.
