ELNA-Kongreso 2005

Saluton! Dum la julia kongreso en Sidney, la ELNA-Estraro aprobis la proponon ke Aŭstino gastigos la kongreson en la dua semajnfino de junio 2005 (de la 10-a al la 13-a de junio)!
Specialaj gastoj inkluzivos estimatajn beletristojn Edwin de Kock kaj Peter Browne (ambaŭ el kiuj loĝas en Teksaso), do okazos bonaj prezentaĵoj pri poezio kaj literaturo! Kaj la ELNA-kongreso ne okazis en Teksaso dum la lastaj tri jardekoj, do ĉi tiu evento estos bona oportuno por viziti la belan amikeman urbon Aŭstino, kiu famas pro multa viva muziko, diversaj teatraj prezentaĵoj, belaj parkoj, muzeoj, ŝtata kapitolo, granda universitato, ktp. Post la kongreso, eblas ekskursoj al belaj apudaj ŝtataj naturparkoj, ekzemple Pedernales Falls kaj Enchanted Rock.
Ni ankaŭ volas allogi pli da komencantoj kaj junuloj, do ni planas specialajn programerojn por ili.
Ni volas prezenti multajn prelegojn, klasojn, prezentaĵojn, ktp. Se vi havas sugestojn aŭ volas helpi plani aŭ prezenti ion ajn dum la kongreso, bonvolu kontakti nin. Se vi volas pli serioze helpi la planadon, ni invitas vin aliĝi la retpoŝtliston elna-kongreso-2005.
La kongresloko estos Universitato Concordia.
Esperanto-Klubo de Aŭstino antaŭvidas fari ĝueblan sukcesan kongreson por ĉiuj vizitantoj.
ELNA Congress 2005

Hi! During the previous congress in July in Sidney, BC, Canada, the ELNA Board approved the proposal that Austin would host the next congress in the second weekend of June 2005 (from the 10th to the 13th of June).
Special guests will include the esteemed men of letters Edwin de Kock and Peter Browne (both of whom live in Texas), so expect wonderful presentations of poetry and literature! And the ELNA Congress hasn't happened in Texas during the last three decades, so this will be a great opportunity to visit our beautiful and friendly city of Austin. It's famous for live music, diverse theatrical productions, beautiful parks, museums, the state capitol, The University of Texas, and many other things. After the congress, maybe an excursion will be in order to the spectacular nearby State Parks, for example Pedernales Falls and Enchanted Rock.
We would also like to welcome beginners, kids, and teenagers, so we are planning special programs for them.
We'd like to have a bunch of lectures, classes, and presentations, so if you have suggestions or want to help plan or present something during the congress, please contact us. If you want to help plan in a more serious way, we invite you to join the email list elna-kongreso-2005.
The congress will be held at Concordia University.
